SMIF Fundraising Update
Official WVU Day of Giving Results
We’re excited to celebrate the success of SMIF during the 2025 WVU Day of Giving! Thanks to the incredible support of our alumni, we launched this first-time effort with great momentum and proudly placed 1st in the university-wide Young Alumni Social Media Challenge. A special thank you to SMIF alum Aaron Winderbaum for rallying fellow alumni, and to current SMIF analyst Allie Spiker for energizing the students. In addition to the generous support received during Day of Giving, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Rob and Penni Roll for their additional gift of $5,000 to the program. This strong showing highlights the pride and enthusiasm our alumni and students have for the program—and we’re just getting started!
